Salary: £100,000 – 100,000 per year
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering skills with technologies such as Elixir, Rust, Scala, Ruby, or Python in a SaaS environment
- Good knowledge of AWS
- Experience conducting code reviews and providing coaching and mentoring
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information
- Delivery-focused with experience managing technical projects
- Good commercial acumen
- Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline, Computer Science preferred
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS systems
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into effective software solutions
- Define timelines and estimate effort for software projects
- Drive technical excellence, performing code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging complex problems
- Ensure high-quality code and performance
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive their adoption
- Contribute to overall continuous improvement within the team
