Zscaler is seeking a Sales Regional Director for the Public Sector to join their team in a hybrid capacity. This role involves reporting to the RVP of Public Sector Sales and managing a team of Account Executives across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing sales team while promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Address customer challenges by effectively communicating Zscaler’s unique value proposition.
  • Provide accurate business forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, while also creating development plans for each sales representative.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Product Marketing, Product Management, and Demand Generation to drive sales initiatives.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key partners, developing joint plans, generating sales pipeline, and ensuring opportunities are successfully closed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging or securing AI-driven solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience leading successful sales teams in the software and security industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with partners such as VARs and distribution.
  • Experience selling to Public Sector accounts in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using AI-driven analytics tools for accurate sales forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of customer goals and how technology can facilitate business transformation.
  • Proficiency in strategic sales planning with experience in closing new business accounts.
