Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to enhance our security capabilities. This hands-on role will involve designing, building, and evolving our IAM architecture, ensuring secure access across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Deliveroo’s IAM architecture across various identity providers and governance tools.
• Design scalable solutions for authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
• Drive improvements in access governance processes and lead technical integrations.
• Develop best practices for IAM and create automation to enhance security.
• Build middleware solutions and self-service capabilities for business teams.
• Embed IAM controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor engineers in secure design practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or security engineering with hands-on technical depth.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience in designing IAM systems in cloud-first environments.
• Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.
• Hands-on experience with identity governance platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud IAM principles.
• Experience in building secure integrations using REST APIs.
