This role is focused on managing and expanding a high-volume portfolio of growth-oriented reseller, referral, and advisory partners. The position is designed for someone who can own a broad partner base, keep relationships active, and drive measurable revenue impact without requiring dedicated strategic alliance management for each account. The successful candidate will help ensure partners stay engaged with Diligent’s solutions, understand the company’s go-to-market direction, and remain qualified to participate in implementation and subcontracting opportunities.
What you will do
- Act as the main business contact for a portfolio of reseller, referral, and advisory partners.
- Keep partner relationships warm and productive through recurring business reviews, webinars, newsletters, and virtual touchpoints.
- Make sure partners understand Diligent’s strategy, product direction, and commercial priorities.
- Serve as the first escalation point for partner questions and commercial support needs.
- Take responsibility for revenue performance across the assigned partner portfolio.
- Identify ways to grow partner business through cross-selling, upselling enterprise capabilities, and expanding renewals and customer growth.
- Generate partner pipeline through enablement programs and partner campaigns.
- Work alongside the sales team on partner-led opportunities that require direct sales involvement.
- Keep partners informed about Diligent products, positioning, and solution updates.
- Coordinate product education, sales enablement, and go-to-market messaging with internal stakeholders.
- Encourage participation in webinars, enablement sessions, and product launches.
- Build partner self-sufficiency through repeatable education and communication programs.
- Ensure partners remain aligned with Partner Program requirements needed to stay in good standing within Diligent’s ecosystem.
- Track required implementation certifications, product training, and recertification status, and coordinate with the Partner Program team where needed.
- Proactively contact partners whose certifications or program obligations are nearing expiry so they can preserve eligibility for implementation and subcontracting work.
- Share new product releases, implementation updates, and enablement resources that support implementation readiness.
- Partner with Professional Services and Partner Program teams to make sure partners understand Diligent’s implementation standards and maintain the qualifications needed for subcontracted delivery engagements.
- Keep records of partner certifications, capabilities, and program status accurate and up to date, and escalate compliance risks when necessary.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, Partner Programs, and Product teams to support partner success.
- Ensure partner interactions with internal teams are smooth and consistent with Diligent’s partner engagement model.
- Advocate for partner needs while staying aligned with company policy and program governance.
- Track partner revenue, pipeline, certifications, and engagement metrics.
- Maintain accurate CRM and PRM records.
- Identify inactive partners and put reactivation plans into action.
- Recommend partners for greater investment or for changes to program status based on performance and engagement.
What the company is looking for
- At least five years of experience in channel sales, partner management, alliances, or indirect sales.
- Experience in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) or audit is preferred.
- Background working with reseller, referral, advisory, or channel partner ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of SaaS partner sales motions and indirect go-to-market models.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a large number of partners through scalable engagement methods.
- Experience with Salesforce, PRM platforms, partner enablement tools, and certification tracking is preferred.
- Comfort working across multiple internal teams and partner types in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

Working arrangement
