This role sits within Lenovo’s sales organization and focuses on accelerating business for the ThinkAgile MX and Azure Local portfolio. The position combines technical depth, business development, alliance coordination, and go-to-market execution to help expand revenue, increase market share, and drive broader customer adoption of Lenovo’s hybrid cloud, AI-ready, and edge infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams, using technical knowledge and market awareness to uncover opportunities, move solutions forward, and deliver measurable commercial results.

What you will do

• Build revenue, pipeline, and market share for ThinkAgile MX and Azure Local.
• Identify and pursue opportunities connected to hybrid cloud, AI, edge, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Support the sales organization in advancing strategic opportunities and closing deals.
• Serve as the technical authority for ThinkAgile MX and Azure Local solutions.
• Lead discovery conversations with customers, shape solution messaging, and present to executive audiences.
• Support architecture discussions, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with Microsoft.
• Work closely with Microsoft sellers, specialists, and partner teams to create co-sell opportunities.
• Use Microsoft programs, incentives, and funding options to help accelerate growth.
• Enable Lenovo and partner sellers with technical knowledge, competitive positioning, and customer value messaging.
• Contribute to demand generation, events, and marketing campaigns.
• Engage customers and partners directly to understand their business challenges and align Lenovo solutions accordingly.
• Build senior-level relationships that support long-term growth and strategic wins.

What Lenovo is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related subject, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least seven years of experience in technical business development, solution sales, sales engineering, alliance management, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Practical experience with hybrid cloud, infrastructure, virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, or data center technologies.
• A track record of driving pipeline creation, sales growth, or go-to-market initiatives in a technology environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Azure Local, cloud infrastructure, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience presenting both technical and commercial solutions to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience supporting proof-of-concepts, technical workshops, solution design sessions, and customer briefings.

Location and working arrangement

The role is listed as full-time and is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
