It calls for someone who is proactive, highly self-directed, comfortable working with data, and able to translate product capabilities into long-term commercial strategies for agency partners.

The wider Global Business Organization supports Google’s commercial ecosystem across ads, business development, customer service, support, and coordinated programs for the company’s most important customers and partners. • Develop and sustain strong relationships with senior agency leaders, including C-level executives and heads of performance or search, and align Google’s offerings with their business priorities.
  • Encourage adoption of Google’s AI-driven advertising products, first-party data strategies, and modern measurement approaches to help agencies and advertisers improve performance and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead internal cross-functional collaboration, including work with teams such as gTech on joint technical plans, while removing operational barriers and coordinating resources to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Continuously test new approaches, identify bottlenecks in the portfolio, and share successful methods and insights with the broader Google team to help challenge the status quo.

What Google is looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least five years of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, consultative sales, or business development; candidates with an advanced degree may qualify with three years of experience.
  • Direct experience with Search advertising and AI-based performance products such as Performance Max, AI Max, or Demand Led Growth.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level client stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience in negotiation and relationship building.
  • Preferred experience managing client relationships and using client insights to shape strategy.
  • Preferred familiarity with artificial intelligence.
  • Experience level appropriate for a mid-level role involving progress-driving work, problem solving, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and deeper applied expertise in the area.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • English proficiency, which Google says is required for all roles unless the posting states otherwise.
  • The role is located in London, UK.
