Company Name Typeform
Job Role Senior Paid Marketing Strategist
Qualifications Not Specified
Category Sales Jobs
Job Type Full Time
Location Rest of UK

Typeform is seeking a senior paid marketing strategist to help reshape how the company approaches paid acquisition. This is a highly hands-on position with significant ownership, focused on improving performance across key channels, expanding into new opportunities, and strengthening how the business measures the impact of its advertising investment.

The role sits within the Acquisition team in Marketing and involves close collaboration with Creative, Product Marketing, Data, RevOps, Finance, and Tracking teams. The work is centred on building efficient growth through paid media, developing stronger measurement practices, and contributing to Typeform’s broader full-funnel acquisition strategy.

What you will be responsible for

  • Leading the strategy and everyday management of major paid social and display channels, including TikTok, YouTube, Google Performance Max, Uber Ads, and similar platforms.
  • Designing a multichannel acquisition approach that lowers reliance on paid search and creates additional efficient growth opportunities.
  • Managing monthly media spend at a six-figure level, making decisions based on acquisition efficiency, revenue, CAC, and LTV-to-CAC performance.
  • Building, launching, and improving campaigns that generate Typeform signups and bring in new paying customers.
  • Turning creative concepts into effective campaigns by writing briefs and working closely with copywriters and designers.
  • Running structured A/B tests across creative, copy, landing pages, placements, audiences, and bidding strategies.
  • Exploring and evaluating new channels such as audio and connected TV.
  • Owning the paid marketing measurement approach, including marketing mix modelling, incrementality studies, and other alternative frameworks.
  • Creating experiments that show the true incremental value of campaigns rather than depending only on standard attribution.
  • Working with Tracking and Data teams to strengthen measurement capabilities as digital advertising continues to evolve.
  • Sharing insights, results, and recommendations with the marketing organisation and broader business stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the company’s wider acquisition strategy across both demand creation and demand capture.

What the company is looking for

  • About six or more years of practical and strategic experience in performance marketing and media buying.
  • Strong hands-on experience with paid social and video channels, ideally including TikTok, YouTube, and Meta.
  • Experience owning campaigns end to end, from the initial idea and creative brief through implementation, optimisation, and measurement.
  • A proven record of managing six-figure budgets while delivering efficient performance.
  • Experience with marketing mix modelling, incrementality testing, or other measurement methods that go beyond traditional attribution.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with campaign performance data, conversion funnels, CAC, and LTV.
  • A deep understanding of digital measurement, including tagging, attribution, and incrementality.
  • Experience developing creative and UGC assets for paid social campaigns.
  • The ability to combine creative thinking with strong commercial judgement.
  • A curious, resourceful approach to problem solving, including knowing how to find answers through people, documentation, or AI tools when needed.
  • Confidence working across teams and influencing partners in Creative, Product Marketing, Data, and Finance.
  • Comfort with uncertainty and a willingness to test ideas, learn from outcomes, and adjust direction when the data supports it.

Additional experience that would be helpful

  • Background in SaaS or B2B lead generation.
  • Experience in sales technology or marketing technology.
  • Experience managing external agencies or digital production partners.
  • Experience with ad servers and campaign trafficking.
