Third Line Citrix Specialist @ DXC [£35,000 – 75,000]

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a Third Line Support role
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC, and Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and FSLogix
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise support models
  • Operations experience with VMWare, HyperV, XenServer, Invanti
  • Desirable to have a working knowledge of supporting UK Secure Paradox solution (Becypt)
  • Analytics experience, specifically with Systrack/Nexthink (Non-essential training provided)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems, including Windows 10 & Windows 11
  • Citrix Certified Expert Virtualisation (CCE-V) or equivalent (desirable)
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) (desirable)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within a third line support environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Third-Line Technical Support for incident escalations & problem record progression
  • Act as the point of contact for Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, and NetScaler
  • Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues across Citrix platforms
  • Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles, and user experience
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to design and implement Citrix solutions
  • Support patching, upgrades, and migrations of Citrix components
  • Conduct both proactive and reactive problem record progression and root cause analysis
  • Proactively address defect management resolutions as part of technical assurance activities
  • Maintain confidence in working with internal and cross-capability teams alongside account and customer engagement
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
