Salary: £41,500 – 71,000 per year
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in a broad range of AWS services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and software-defined networking in the cloud
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes, ECS, or OpenShift
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- AWS certifications are desirable but not essential; training opportunities are available
- Knowledge of security best practices and AWS security features
- Experience in designing and deploying complex cloud architectures
- Leadership skills for senior roles, including team or project management
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Eligibility to obtain and hold UK Security Clearance, including SC or higher
- Demonstrated ability to work within a national security environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
