Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering skills with technologies such as Elixir, Rust, Scala, Ruby, or Python in a SaaS environment
  • Good knowledge of AWS
  • Experience conducting code reviews and providing coaching and mentoring
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information
  • Delivery-focused with experience managing technical projects
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline, Computer Science preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS systems
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into effective software solutions
  • Define timelines and estimate effort for software projects
  • Drive technical excellence, performing code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging complex problems
  • Ensure high-quality code and performance
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive their adoption
  • Contribute to overall continuous improvement within the team
