In this position, you will act as a senior technical partner to the sales organization, helping shape opportunities from early discovery through to evaluation and close. The role is centered on using deep technical knowledge, strong customer-facing skills, and cross-functional collaboration to support complex sales cycles across multiple industries.

What you will do

  • Serve as the technical lead on integration topics during significant sales opportunities, including building and delivering proposals, answering RFPs, and creating tailored proof-of-concept demonstrations that show how OneTrust can integrate with customer environments and meet business objectives.
  • Run detailed technical discussions with prospects to design integration approaches and advise on implementation best practices.
  • Work alongside sales teams in customer meetings and presentations, helping to shape custom integration options that address specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D, technical integration specialists, and partner integration teams to feed customer and market insight back into product development and future roadmap decisions.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by helping produce high-quality proposals and other sales enablement materials.
  • Keep all sales-related activity up to date in Salesforce CRM throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to national-level business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support across a range of verticals.

What OneTrust is looking for

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in solutions engineering or a closely related role.
  • Experience guiding customers through the full pre-sales and evaluation journey, including discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept work.
  • A background in software is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, though not essential.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including comfort working with executives and senior leaders.
  • Confidence presenting complex ideas in a clear, engaging, and persuasive way.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams, influence stakeholders, and drive shared outcomes.
  • Empathy for customer challenges and the ability to identify pain points and recommend tailored solutions.
  • An ambitious, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and execute effectively.
  • A strategic, customer-focused outlook and a strong interest in helping drive business growth.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities.
