Salary: $65,000 – 105,000 per year
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution; OR
- A minimum of three years of full-time general work experience demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities
- An undergraduate degree with Superior Academic Achievement based on class standing, grade-point average (minimum 3.0), or honor society membership; OR
- A bachelors degree from an accredited institution; OR
- A combination of specialized work experience equivalent to GS-5 level and graduate-level education
- U.S. Citizenship and primary residence within the U.S. for the last three years
- Must be 40 years old or younger unless applying through excepted service recruitment appointment (VRA)
Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations at various ports of entry nationwide
- Conduct thorough inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other agencies in high-pressure environments
- Utilize analytical skills to assess situations and make informed decisions
- Communicate clearly with diverse individuals regarding regulations and procedures
