Salary: $75,000 – 115,000 per year
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience in an administrative role, including data entry and monitoring information in both paper and electronic formats.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Familiarity with internet-based databases and email for data handling.
- Strong ability to collect, organize, and assess data to derive logical conclusions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to draft reports and business correspondence.
- Competence in managing confidential information.
- Skill in using computers and related software.
- Ability to create and interpret graphs, charts, and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of established procedures and ability to adhere to them.
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with others.
- Valid drivers license with ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic diversity of our service population.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sponsors, shelters, and LIRS to arrange fingerprint appointments for adult sponsors.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork in line with program regulations.
- Make copies of required documents for record-keeping.
- Ensure all files are fully accounted for and properly completed monthly.
- Organize items for easy retrieval and reference.
- Enter sponsor information accurately into the fingerprint database and conduct digital fingerprinting.
- Input sponsor and minor data into the LIRS Childrens Services Case Management System (Apricot).
- Direct clients to the Legal Orientation Program for Custodians of Unaccompanied Alien Children (LOPC).
- Provide guidance to sponsors about local resources for social support.
- Maintain the Digital Fingerprint Machine, addressing technical issues as needed.
- Supply the Program Director with accurate data for timely report completion and communicate any sponsor- or equipment-related issues.
- Notify the Program Director of recurring problems or compliance issues.
- Adhere to the Rules of Behavior for the HHS Digital Fingerprinting System and the Safe Release Support Program Manual.
- Participate in program training sessions and conference calls.
- Maintain confidentiality and properly handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Undertake additional duties as required to fulfill program needs.
