What you will do

  • Work with product, architecture, and solution design stakeholders to improve how systems are built and delivered, with a focus on quality, testability, operational resilience, and release readiness.
  • Bring together and manage complicated delivery dependencies across vendors, business teams, release managers, environment specialists, and third-party suppliers.
  • Lead improvements in quality practices by increasing automation, embedding quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, using risk-based testing methods, and driving productivity gains.

Skills and experience needed

  • Deep understanding of Wealth & Retirement platforms, including pensions, workplace savings, investment products, and adviser-led wealth services.
  • Strong background in test management, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing support, and release assurance.
  • Experience establishing and operating quality governance, managing defects, planning test data, ensuring environments are ready, and applying risk-based testing.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively at executive level and across delivery teams, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Knowledge of automation strategy, API testing, CI/CD delivery pipelines, and quality engineering practices.
  • Solid test management capability is explicitly required.
  • Experience with FNZ or a similar wealth platform ecosystem would be beneficial.
  • Background in platform migrations, large-scale transformation programmes, and release management would be an advantage.
  • Helpful experience includes architecture review, integration design, data flow analysis, APIs, batch processing, and operational control design.
  • Exposure to GenAI-enabled testing tools or other quality transformation initiatives would be desirable.
  • Experience in regulated financial services environments with strong audit, compliance, and governance controls is preferred.
