What you will do
- Take the lead on both advisory and delivery assignments, supporting clients from early transformation thinking through to the full delivery lifecycle of Workday programmes.
- Help clients define their solution architecture and end-to-end business processes so they can be effectively supported by Workday technology.
- Work with business requirements and convert them into detailed functional and technical designs for systems, applications, and processes, covering both functional and non-functional needs.
- Support the functional design, prototyping, and process design stages of Workday implementations.
- Identify issues in client processes, technology, and integrations, then recommend workable solutions.
- Provide insight and support around Workday transactional data flows and contribute to data migration activities.
- Plan and deliver the teamâs scope of work and outputs, while keeping delivery risks in view.
- Manage stakeholders through clear, effective communication and build trusted client relationships.
- Work as part of an inclusive team and help develop colleagues through both formal and informal support.
- Contribute to the continued growth of Deloitteâs Workday Finance capability and help clients reduce cost while enabling innovation at enterprise level.

Skills and experience needed
- Experience in ERP, EPM, and cloud computing, including knowledge of storage, platforms, and data.
- Relevant experience in finance technology or a related field.
- Ability to translate business needs into system, application, or process designs that address both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of Workday transactional data flows and experience supporting data migration.
- Experience designing and implementing ERP systems.
- Certification in Workday Finance, FDM, and Engagement Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to define and deliver team scope and outputs.
- Confident stakeholder management and the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Awareness of delivery risk in ERP programmes.
- Ability to work well in an inclusive team and support the development of others.
- At least four complete end-to-end Workday implementations.
Preferred experience and strengths
- Understanding of current best practice in automation, continuous integration and deployment, and cloud-based delivery models.
- Comfort discussing technical topics with business audiences and business issues with technical audiences.
- Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and in plain language for different audiences.
- Business domain and/or industry knowledge.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, geographically distributed teams, and clients.
- Strong cross-functional project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, especially when turning business requirements into information models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Evidence of leadership and self-direction.
- Background in consulting or professional services.
