The role works across Amazon teams and functions, connecting operational execution with retail and business planning so the company can improve customer experience while also making the supply chain more cost-effective and energy efficient.<\/p>\n<h3>What you will do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the demand planning approach for grocery operations across five European markets: the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, and France.<\/li>\n<li>Cover planning for both Amazon Fresh online grocery and Amazon Now quick-commerce grocery banners.<\/li>\n<li>Use data analysis to understand customer demand patterns by region and improve the accuracy of forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Help drive better efficiency across the end-to-end supply chain, from inbound supply through to customer outbound delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with operational teams, last-mile delivery teams, and business partners to bring their insights into the forecasting cycle.<\/li>\n<li>Align demand planning decisions and strategy with senior leadership and finance stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Take on both tactical and strategic work, responding to immediate issues while also helping shape longer-term planning for a growing grocery business.<\/li>\n<li>Support scenario modelling for new launches, such as Amazon Fresh dark store openings, and help resolve capacity or resource gaps that affect delivery speed across international regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Team and environment<\/h3>\n<p>You will join the INT Supply Chain Grocery Execution team, a group that helps launch and grow Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s newest grocery ideas. The team works in an entrepreneurial, start-up-like environment while operating inside a large global company. It supports emerging businesses such as Amazon Now stores and online grocery services, and it brings together people with skills in operations, supply chain, and data management. The team\u00e2\u0080\u0099s purpose is to build new capabilities for Amazon on behalf of customers and to help turn early concepts into mature businesses that can eventually operate independently.<\/p>\n<p>The role is based at Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s corporate office in London, at the LHR16 UK location. The position involves regular problem-solving, collaboration across teams, and the chance to learn continuously while helping shape the future of Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s grocery operations.<\/p>\n<h3>Experience and skills needed<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience using data and metrics to identify opportunities and implement process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong English language ability at CEFR level B2\/C1.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in business analytics, reporting, or demand forecasting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience sharing results with senior leaders, or experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting performance data.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate Excel capability, including pivot tables, charts, multi-criteria lookups, nested IF or other logical formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.<\/li>\n<li>Previous supply chain experience in areas such as contracting, demand management, planning, procurement, or supply chain operations.<\/li>\n<li>A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or another relevant technical or quantitative subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice-to-have experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience leading process improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate SQL knowledge, including query writing, subqueries, grouping and aggregation, and data modification.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional information<\/h3>\n<p>Amazon says it is an equal opportunities employer and makes hiring decisions based on experience and skills.
