The AWS Security Assurance Services team within Amazon Web Services focuses on building scalable security solutions that help both internal and external customers achieve strong business outcomes. It is intended for a professional who can work through complex regulatory and assurance challenges, explain how AWS can support compliance objectives, and help customers design scalable approaches for managing risk. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Work alongside Amazon employees, partners, and customers to improve security assurance and compliance programs.<\/li>\n
  • Help shape innovative approaches to compliance and risk management that make it easier for customers to move sensitive workloads to AWS.<\/li>\n
  • Support customer engagements focused on resolving security assurance questions and on showing how risk can be managed while compliance requirements are met in AWS.<\/li>\n
  • Lead or contribute to detailed technical and strategic discussions, including presentations, recommendations, and live demonstrations of compliance automation in AWS environments.<\/li>\n
  • Gather feedback from customers and partners and share it with AWS engineering, support, and business teams so it can inform future technology direction.<\/li>\n
  • Educate customers on how AWS\u00e2\u0080\u0099s product-led and people-powered services can help them operate securely while demonstrating that compliance goals can be achieved.<\/li>\n
  • Help enterprise customers operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud.<\/li>\n

    • Experience working with IT compliance and risk-management requirements such as security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, and similar obligations.<\/li>\n
    • At least two years of experience advising customers on architectures that meet standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.<\/li>\n
    • The ability to understand detailed compliance requirements and convert them into scalable solutions.<\/li>\n
    • A strategic mindset for business, product, and technical challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred background<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Experience using Agile methods and DevOps practices.<\/li>\n
      • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCIH, GSEC, or Security+.<\/li>\n
      • Risk, audit, or compliance credentials such as CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA, or similar qualifications.<\/li>\n
      • Experience carrying out security assessments and information-system audits across networks, operating systems, application security, and IT processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
