This senior process engineering role sits within the EU process engineering function and is based in a fulfillment center environment. It is an onsite position with no shift rotation, and it gives the successful candidate broad exposure to strategic work across Europe. The work is intentionally high in ambiguity, so the role suits someone who can operate effectively when the problem statement or overall strategy is not yet fully defined. In that setting, the engineer is expected to use sound judgment to set priorities, shape the right goals, guide decisions, manage expectations, and develop durable solutions.<\/p>\n

The person in post may lead local and EU-wide initiatives, coordinate programs that span multiple sites, and support the development of junior colleagues. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Drive continuous-improvement work by measuring site performance against network benchmarks and identifying where the building can improve.<\/li>\n
  • Run weekly performance reviews with site leadership and serve as the building\u00e2\u0080\u0099s cost-focused champion.<\/li>\n
  • Perform detailed investigations into operational issues, then translate the findings into clear action plans and communicate them to senior leaders.<\/li>\n
  • Use AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics to uncover deeper operational insight and reduce the amount of manual analysis required from operations teams.<\/li>\n
  • Join daily operational reviews and Gemba walks with fulfillment center leadership to identify waste and work with operations teams to remove it.<\/li>\n
  • Coach SMEs and SSMEs, helping them build stronger capability in Lean methods and operational excellence.<\/li>\n
  • Independently lead improvement activities such as Kaizen and Kaikaku events.<\/li>\n
  • Spot useful local ideas, help scale them, and roll out proven best practices across the EU network.<\/li>\n
  • Take ownership of EU network initiatives assigned to the site and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.<\/li>\n
  • Support pilot and test commitments so that broader EU rollouts stay on schedule.<\/li>\n
  • Lead EU projects that require coordination between multiple sites.<\/li>\n
  • Build effective working relationships with the site leader and senior management team.<\/li>\n
  • Provide support to the site management team during the Q4 period, depending on the needs of the building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      About the team<\/h3>\n

      The EUCF PE team is responsible for process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU customer fulfillment network. The team sets high performance standards, introduces technological improvements, and strengthens the technical knowledge of operational leaders. It supports operations teams with the expertise needed to deliver process and technology changes while reducing variation in performance between shifts, buildings, and regions. Working closely with central teams, the group prioritizes resources to improve process metrics across all paths.<\/p>\n

      What you need<\/h3>\n

      • Experience in operations management.<\/li>\n
      • Fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in English.<\/li>\n
      • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or higher in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.<\/li>\n
      • Experience contributing to continuous-improvement work that delivered measurable results, or experience delivering results on large cross-functional projects or initiatives.<\/li>\n
      • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n
      • Experience in program or project management, including delivery of cross-functional projects.<\/li>\n
      • Lean Yellow Belt certification or above; if the certification is not already held, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.<\/li>\n
      • Experience acting as a subject-matter expert in a specific fulfillment process is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
