The Amazon Leo European Operations team is hiring a Field Quality Assurance and Compliance Lead to strengthen quality discipline and training excellence across its network of field service providers in Europe. The role sits within the broader Amazon Leo initiative, which is designed to expand access to fast, affordable broadband through a low Earth orbit satellite constellation. The programme aims to support communities and organisations in areas where reliable connectivity is limited, including consumers, businesses, public-sector bodies, and other customers that need dependable internet access.<\/p>\n

This position is suited to a quality-focused professional who enjoys improving consistency across distributed operations. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in quality assurance, compliance, and audit management, ideally gained in telecommunications, utilities, or field service environments. A major part of the role is ensuring that Leo\u00e2\u0080\u0099s standards, policies, and procedures are fully embedded across all field service providers, with consistent customer experience expectations applied across every territory and with business-to-business processes brought fully into scope.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Roll out and reinforce Leo\u00e2\u0080\u0099s policies, procedures, and quality expectations across all appointed field service providers so that every European territory follows the same operating standards.<\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain a quality assurance model that covers both consumer and business installation and service activity, ensuring it matches Leo\u00e2\u0080\u0099s customer experience requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Develop, deliver, and continuously refine training for field service provider teams, covering installation quality, customer interaction standards, and the specific processes used by Leo.<\/li>\n
  • Carry out regular field audits across Europe to check whether quality standards are being followed, identify any gaps, and make sure corrective actions are taken quickly.<\/li>\n
  • Manage audit expectations for individual territories where local regulations or operational realities require different approaches, while still preserving programme-wide consistency.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor quality performance data across the provider network and present practical insights and recommendations to the European Operations leadership team.<\/li>\n
  • Investigate quality breakdowns and customer escalations, determine the underlying causes, and introduce preventive actions that reduce the chance of repeat issues.<\/li>\n
  • Work with field service providers to create and execute continuous improvement plans, while also sharing effective practices and lessons learned between territories.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with the wider Operations organisation so that quality and safety requirements are aligned and mutually supportive across all provider operations.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure installer teams in every territory have the right training materials, certification structure, and competency assessment approach in place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The role may require access to information, systems, or hardware that fall under export-control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.     • Ability to define programme requirements and use data to measure and improve results.<\/li>\n
    • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n
    • Comfort working in a role that may be subject to export-control eligibility requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
