The role is central to how security change is planned and delivered across Arm, helping turn strategic priorities, risks, and emerging needs into clear actions that strengthen the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s security position and support the future of secure computing.<\/p>\n<p>This position works across a range of teams and initiatives, supporting security work from early concept through to delivery. The successful candidate will help define requirements, clarify priorities, and give teams the structure they need to move forward confidently. Collaboration is a major part of the role, with regular interaction across security specialists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to build a shared understanding of challenges, desired outcomes, and delivery needs.<\/p>\n<h3>What you will do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with Enterprise Security, IT, and business partners to shape and deliver security transformation initiatives across Arm.<\/li>\n<li>Translate strategic security priorities, risks, and new requirements into practical outputs that improve security posture and support secure computing goals.<\/li>\n<li>Support initiatives from early concept through implementation by defining needs, clarifying priorities, and helping teams progress effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate workshops and lead discussions that bring technical and business teams into alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Convert complex or ambiguous inputs such as risk assessments, regulatory obligations, audit findings, and strategic objectives into structured deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain business requirements, user stories, process maps, impact assessments, and related documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Work across several initiatives at once while improving consistency, governance, visibility, and delivery alignment across the security portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Use analytical thinking to simplify complexity, challenge assumptions constructively, and support practical decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Balance competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality.<\/li>\n<li>Build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to stronger cross-team collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>As the role develops, take on greater ownership and help shape how security initiatives are prioritised, defined, and delivered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What Arm is looking for<\/h3>\n<p>Arm is less focused on checking every possible box and more interested in how you approach problem-solving, collaboration, and delivery. Experience working across cross-functional teams in technology, cybersecurity, risk, or transformation settings will be valuable.<\/p>\n<h3>Required experience and skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Background as a Business Analyst in cybersecurity, technology, risk, or transformation-focused environments.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for complex work.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting security transformation, remediation, compliance uplift, or security maturity improvement programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of recognised security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or CIS Controls.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to enterprise security areas including vulnerability management, identity and access management, cloud security, governance and compliance, or security operations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process mapping, gap analysis, workflow optimisation, and impact assessment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience running workshops, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional decision-making sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting governance, reporting, risk tracking, and delivery visibility across multiple initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods, along with tools such as Jira and Confluence.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort working in globally distributed, matrixed organisations with competing priorities and dependencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Helpful additional experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in complex technology environments such as semiconductors, engineering, cloud, or other advanced technology sectors would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Professional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, CBAP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP would be beneficial, although they are not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Growth and development<\/h3>\n<p>This role is intended to expand over time.
