In this role, you would join Google Cloud\u00e2\u0080\u0099s go-to-market strategy and operations organization and act as a strategic partner to the business. The position is centered on helping the EMEA region execute major initiatives, translate global programs into local impact, and support the business in a way that is both analytical and operationally effective. You would work across a broad set of internal partners, including Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners, and Google Cloud Consulting, helping the organization plan, prioritize, and run the business with a transformational mindset.<\/p>\n

The role is based in London and focuses on EMEA-wide strategic initiatives. It is intended for someone who can operate confidently in ambiguous situations, work with senior stakeholders, and turn complex business questions into clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.<\/p>\n

What you would do<\/h3>\n

  • Partner with senior leaders across Google Cloud\u00e2\u0080\u0099s go-to-market organization to help shape business planning, strategic direction, and operational execution.<\/li>\n
  • Lead and coordinate strategic programs and initiatives across EMEA, including adapting global Google-wide programs so they create real business value in the region.<\/li>\n
  • Support executive decision-making on major business choices, including where to focus growth efforts, by developing analytical insights that are practical, scalable, and tied to productivity improvements.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by helping define problems, structure complex issues, communicate clearly, and work through ambiguous business challenges.<\/li>\n
  • Own and coordinate EMEA strategic initiatives or specific workstreams, ensuring they move forward effectively and stay aligned with organizational priorities.<\/li>\n
  • Review, combine, and interpret data from multiple workstreams, then turn that information into actionable recommendations.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor initiative progress and performance, and prepare data-driven reporting for senior leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What you need<\/h3>\n

    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n
    • At least 8 years of relevant experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with core business operations such as annual planning, headcount management, business reviews, or target setting.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with executive-level stakeholders or clients.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred: an MBA or another relevant advanced degree.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use tools such as financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, and Looker to solve problems, influence leadership, measure impact, and refine recommendations based on results.<\/li>\n
    • Experience creating reports and presentations that are tailored to different audiences, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and improve efficiency.<\/li>\n
    • Experience collaborating across functions and influencing without direct authority to deliver operational excellence, priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of enterprise customers, cloud technologies, cloud products, and the market environment.<\/li>\n
    • Comfort with ownership, decision-making, and influencing stakeholders in complex and uncertain situations.<\/li>\n
