This role sits within Arm\u00e2\u0080\u0099s SAP reporting environment and is focused on building, shaping, and running the organisation\u00e2\u0080\u0099s core reporting capability. The successful candidate will take ownership of how SAP reporting is designed and delivered for the supported business areas, with a strong emphasis on Finance. The position is intended to improve reporting availability, strengthen process efficiency, and enable faster, data-driven decisions across the business.<\/p>\n

The role also carries responsibility for leading the reporting function itself. That includes reviewing and simplifying the current reporting landscape, creating new reporting solutions where needed, and establishing consistent templates and dashboards that can be adopted more widely across the organisation. The aim is to create a centralised, standardised reporting model that supports better business usage and stronger decision-making.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Take ownership of SAP core reporting delivery for the business functions supported by the team, especially Finance.<\/li>\n
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure reporting is available in a way that improves business processes and supports timely decisions based on live data.<\/li>\n
  • Lead the SAP reporting team and guide the move toward a more rationalised, standardised, and centrally managed reporting approach.<\/li>\n
  • Review existing reporting assets, develop new reporting solutions, and create common templates and dashboards that can be used more broadly across the business.<\/li>\n
  • Shape the strategic direction of reporting across SAP Core BI, SAC, and Data Sphere so the organisation has the right reporting tools and capabilities in place.<\/li>\n
  • Act as the end-to-end technical owner and advocate for SAP reporting solutions, ensuring they function as a business enabler rather than just a technical service.<\/li>\n
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP reporting and help position technology as a driver of strategic reporting and decision-making.<\/li>\n
  • Build a strong reporting capability within the Arm SAP Centre of Excellence by defining and embedding centralised repositories and standard reporting practices.<\/li>\n
  • Influence senior business and leadership stakeholders to adopt SAP reporting capabilities and to support the introduction of new functionality that will help drive change.<\/li>\n
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the BI, SAC, and Data Sphere functional team.<\/li>\n
  • Define and improve the methods used across the reporting lifecycle.<\/li>\n
  • Design, develop, and support standardised reporting templates and dashboards for both SAP and non-SAP reporting needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and experience needed<\/h3>\n

    • Deep hands-on technical experience with SAP BI, SAC, and Data Sphere, with the ability to provide direction and assess reporting design and development options.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of SAP\u00e2\u0080\u0099s data and analytics strategy and roadmap.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated success in improving SAP reporting capabilities over time and supporting reporting development in a large organisation.<\/li>\n
    • Experience managing stakeholders and building effective working relationships.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to adapt communication for senior audiences and explain technical proposals clearly to people without a technical background.<\/li>\n
    • Experience developing and mentoring team members and business users, including coaching where appropriate.<\/li>\n
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the confidence to make decisions and act quickly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable experience<\/h3>\n

      • Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley governed environment.<\/li>\n
      • SAP certifications relevant to reporting, such as SAP Certified in SAC or Data Sphere.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to read and troubleshoot ABAP code.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with delivery methods such as Waterfall and Agile.<\/li>\n
      • Experience mentoring technical colleagues and key business users.<\/li>\n
      • Experience in a global, diverse, and multicultural workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
