This is a senior pavement engineering opportunity within Arup\u00e2\u0080\u0099s UKIMEA region, based in Nottingham.     • A degree in Civil Engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Clear enthusiasm for pavement engineering and a strong track record in the field.<\/li>\n
    • Extensive previous experience in pavement design for infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n
    • Experience at senior level in design, technical delivery, team management, and strategic thinking.<\/li>\n
    • Capability in analytical pavement design, pavement investigation, evaluation methods, and pavement strengthening design.<\/li>\n
    • Experience developing pavement standards and awareness of innovation in the discipline.<\/li>\n
    • Good knowledge of pavement design principles for flexible, rigid, and composite pavements.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of how to select appropriate design strategies and pavement options for different budget scenarios, including both new construction and maintenance work.<\/li>\n
    • Professional membership with an appropriate body such as ICE or CIHT.<\/li>\n
    • Certification as a pavement engineer in line with CD 226.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience gained through overseeing works on site.<\/li>\n

    • Commercial, financial, and contractual experience is preferred.<\/li>\n
