This position is for a senior SAP technology architect based in London, supporting delivery work in SAP ABAP and EWM on S\/4HANA. The role sits within a global consulting and digital services environment and is focused on architecture, design, technical feasibility, and hands-on solution support across the software development lifecycle.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Work directly with important stakeholders and contribute technical expertise throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture definition, and solution design.<\/li>\n
  • Create strong design outputs and other architecture deliverables that support high-quality implementation.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate whether proposed solutions are technically workable and identify efficient approaches to meeting client needs.<\/li>\n
  • Operate as part of a wider delivery team, collaborating closely with both offshore and onshore colleagues.<\/li>\n

    Technical background and experience needed<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Deep practical experience with SAP S\/4HANA EWM, including familiarity with the most recent releases.<\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of warehouse management processes.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience with EWM RF configuration and development.<\/li>\n
    • Experience building, configuring, and supporting EWM interfaces, including AIF monitoring and error handling.<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of the EWM Monitor.<\/li>\n
    • Substantial experience with PPF development.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with label printing and EWM enhancement work.<\/li>\n
    • Experience using Eclipse and ADLC tools.<\/li>\n
    • Strong ABAP on S\/4HANA capability, including workflows, AMDP, CDS, BOPF, and BRF+.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and OData integration approaches.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with SAP AIF, in-app extensibility, and Adobe forms.<\/li>\n
    • Broad ABAP\/4 development experience covering ALV reports, interactive and classical reports, OSS note implementation, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, user exits, BAdIs, RFCs, dialog programming, and the Data Dictionary.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to plan, design, develop, implement, and test ABAP solutions such as scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programs, and custom objects including Z tables and match codes.<\/li>\n
    • Experience supporting Fiori app customisation.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of ABAP performance analysis and troubleshooting tools such as SE30, ST05, and ST22, with the ability to use them for runtime analysis, tuning, issue resolution, and capacity planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred background<\/h3>\n

      • Experience in the life sciences sector is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • High-level technical knowledge of SAP S\/4 EWM and awareness of the product roadmap is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Additional language skills are welcome, although English is mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
