This role sits within Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s operations function and is centered on keeping the flow of work moving smoothly so customer orders are processed and dispatched on time. It is a practical, hands-on supervisory position that gives you visibility across multiple parts of the operation and places you at the center of shift execution. You will support the team, help maintain standards, and make sure the day\u00e2\u0080\u0099s plan is carried out effectively at a site in Stockport.<\/p>\n

The position requires a commitment of 32 hours each week. It is based on site rather than remote, and the work is organized around operational shifts. In this Quick Commerce environment, the team supports ultra-fast convenience delivery from small warehouse locations in city centers, working closely with last-mile delivery partners to help customers receive products in around 30 minutes or less.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Keep an eye on workflow activity, measure performance on site, and share important shift information with frontline management so operations remain effective across shifts.<\/li>\n
  • Support, coach, and train employees so they can deliver strong service and carry out their tasks successfully.<\/li>\n
  • Supervise team members in their daily work and act as the first point of contact for them during the shift.<\/li>\n
  • Help the Shift or Area Manager with projects designed to improve processes, strengthen safety, and increase employee engagement.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with other departments to solve recurring problems and support operational needs in key performance areas.<\/li>\n
  • Use data analysis and performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in pre-shift planning and team briefings, making sure procedures are understood and that safety rules, quality expectations, and the day\u00e2\u0080\u0099s priorities are followed.<\/li>\n
  • Escalate issues to your manager when needed, and at times provide direction yourself if you are the most senior person on shift.<\/li>\n
  • Help plan staffing so the team is properly covered during busy periods and peak demand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
