This is an opportunity for an experienced principal-level embedded software engineer to join a well-established engineering team in central Bristol. The role involves developing embedded software products for a wide range of customers, spanning everything from small startups to major global technology businesses. What you will be doing<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Building embedded software products as part of a collaborative team in central Bristol.<\/li>\n
  • Contributing to projects for a diverse customer base, including both emerging companies and large international technology organisations.<\/li>\n
  • Applying strong low-level embedded programming skills in C and assembler.<\/li>\n
  • Working on embedded systems design and architecture-level problem solving.<\/li>\n
  • Using ARM-based platforms and related development knowledge in day-to-day engineering work.<\/li>\n
  • Working with real-time operating systems as part of embedded product development.<\/li>\n
  • Using networking knowledge, including TCP and UDP, where relevant to the product work.<\/li>\n
  • Reviewing the work of other engineers and helping maintain technical quality across the team.<\/li>\n
  • Supporting junior engineers and contributing to their development.<\/li>\n
  • Taking on responsibilities that may lead toward a team lead or management position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
