This opportunity is for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a busy engineering team in Oxfordshire working on innovative, highly precise products. The role sits within a fast-paced environment where the focus is on taking mechanical concepts through detailed design, validation, and release into production. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs and create components that are ready for manufacturing using CAD tools.<\/li>\n
  • Produce engineering drawings of a high standard, making sure they comply with ISO BS 8888 and GD&T practices.<\/li>\n
  • Carry out engineering analysis, including finite element analysis and manual calculations, to support design decisions and confirm performance.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with manufacturing and assembly colleagues to make sure the designs are practical, robust, and suitable for production.<\/li>\n
  • Support mechanical assembly, integration, and testing activities as products move through development.<\/li>\n
  • Take designs from early concept stages through iterative refinement, validation, and final production release.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
