This opportunity is for a senior embedded software engineer to join a growing Bristol-based business that develops technologies in computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The role sits within work on a next-generation virtual reality system and offers the chance to contribute to advanced, high-impact engineering in a fast-moving environment.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Design and develop low-level embedded software for a new virtual reality platform.<\/li>\n
  • Create and support drivers and core infrastructure for embedded systems built around ARM microcontrollers.<\/li>\n
  • Write software for pre-emptive, multithreaded real-time operating systems or embedded Linux platforms, ensuring the system can meet strict timing requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Work across embedded C and C++ development, with Python also used where appropriate.<\/li>\n
  • Take ownership of technical tasks and help drive projects forward from concept through delivery.<\/li>\n
  • Adapt quickly to unfamiliar technical areas and remain effective when working under pressure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
