An international employer is seeking a Senior NPI Product Engineer to support and lead the launch of new semiconductor products from development into high-volume production. The role focuses on improving how products can be tested and manufactured, while also strengthening product characterization, yield performance, quality, and readiness for production. The work is centered on high-performance optical and analog\/mixed-signal integrated circuits, and it requires close collaboration across multiple technical and business functions.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Take new semiconductor products from concept stage through production release and transfer into manufacturing.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate day-to-day activity with design, test, validation, quality, reliability, applications, marketing, and operations teams to keep the launch process moving smoothly.<\/li>\n
  • Manage the key milestones for NPI programs, prepare and maintain release documentation, and confirm that manufacturing is ready for volume production.<\/li>\n
  • Define and implement requirements that improve testability and manufacturability, helping ensure products can be built and verified efficiently.<\/li>\n
  • Support the creation and refinement of automated test equipment programs used in production environments.<\/li>\n
  • Complete datasheet finalization and establish production test limits that align with product performance and quality expectations.<\/li>\n
  • Make sure test coverage is strong enough to support robust product quality and reliable manufacturing outcomes.<\/li>\n
  • Develop characterization plans that evaluate product behavior across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.<\/li>\n
  • Analyse data gathered from automated test equipment and bench measurements, including correlation analysis and process capability reviews.<\/li>\n
  • Carry out design-of-experiments work, build yield models, and use test optimization methods to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.<\/li>\n
  • Identify the main drivers behind yield loss and work through corrective actions to address them.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor yield and quality metrics during manufacturing and help drive improvements where issues are found.<\/li>\n
  • Support failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and CAPA activities when product or process issues arise.<\/li>\n
  • Work with foundry partners and OSAT suppliers to resolve manufacturing problems and improve production stability.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and cost-reduction initiatives across the product lifecycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
