This is a senior opportunity based in London for an experienced EDA specialist to join a well-funded deep-tech company developing next-generation quantum computing hardware and software. The position sits in a fast-growing business that has been expanding year after year, offering the chance to contribute to breakthrough technology with the potential to reshape a major industry. The role is hybrid, and it combines technical leadership, hands-on EDA support, and close collaboration with design, layout, and foundry partners.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Take ownership of the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s EDA environment, including setting it up, supporting it, and keeping it running effectively across the organisation.<\/li>\n
  • Manage EDA team capacity and allocate resources across several projects and engineering teams.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with design and layout engineers throughout the tape-out flow, ensuring the EDA side supports smooth progress from design through to manufacturing handoff.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as an important interface with the foundry for ASIC fabrication workflows.<\/li>\n
  • Support fabrication deliveries and help ensure all required sign-off conditions are satisfied before release.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to a cutting-edge research and development setting focused on solving some of today\u00e2\u0080\u0099s most challenging technical problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A highly experienced CAD\/EDA professional with substantial expertise in analog CAD support.<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain analog design flows for ASIC development.<\/li>\n
    • Direct experience working with foundries and understanding how to manage that relationship in an ASIC environment.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of fabrication deliverables and the sign-off criteria needed for successful manufacturing handoff.<\/li>\n
    • Practical experience using Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, and Keysight ADS.<\/li>\n
    • Programming and automation skills using scripting tools and languages such as Python, Skill, Bash, and Perl.<\/li>\n
    • The capability to operate at principal level and contribute across multiple projects and teams in a growing technical organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
