An international leader in next-generation compute architecture is seeking an experienced static timing analysis engineer to join its design team in Cambridgeshire. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Perform static timing analysis for advanced CPU blocks across a range of operating modes, process corners, and voltage domains.<\/li>\n
  • Develop, refine, and maintain timing constraints and sign-off practices so the design can achieve aggressive performance, power, and area objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Work directly with micro-architecture, RTL, and physical design teams to troubleshoot timing paths, determine the root cause of violations, and recommend practical corrective actions.<\/li>\n
  • Automate timing workflows and improve the supporting STA infrastructure through scripting in TCL, Python, or Perl.<\/li>\n
  • Review timing techniques, methodology choices, and tool behaviour when applying new process technologies and libraries.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with central methodology specialists to help guide timing strategy across several design programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
