This opportunity is for a mechanical design engineer to join a growing team in Oxford, where the work focuses on advanced technology and the creation of innovative products from the earliest concept stage through to production. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Design compact and robust mechanical systems for products, prototypes, and test equipment.<\/li>\n
  • Develop practical mechanical concepts that meet targets for performance, reliability, and ease of manufacture.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with teams from other disciplines to build and integrate system prototypes.<\/li>\n
  • Produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and other design documentation needed to support development and manufacture.<\/li>\n
  • Perform structural, thermal, and materials analysis to improve overall system performance and reliability.<\/li>\n
  • Support prototype assembly, testing, validation, and iterative design improvements based on results.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to taking technologies from initial concept work through prototyping and testing and onward into production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
