An established semiconductor technology company in West London is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to take on a hands-on technical leadership position. This role sits within a multidisciplinary engineering environment and offers the chance to influence both the detailed design work and the broader hardware direction of complex electronic products.<\/p>\n

In this position, you will be involved across the full product lifecycle, starting with early concept development and continuing through to production. The work centres on high-performance electronic systems, with a strong emphasis on practical hardware design, architecture input, and collaboration with other engineering specialists.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities<\/h3>\n

  • Take ownership of the design and development of advanced analogue and digital electronic systems.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to hardware architecture choices and help guide projects from initial concept through to production release.<\/li>\n
  • Carry out schematic design work, PCB development, and component selection.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with prototype build-up, laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with embedded software, FPGA, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure the complete system works together effectively.<\/li>\n
  • Offer technical leadership and practical support to engineers within the wider team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
