This opportunity is with an early-stage semiconductor start-up building a new class of high-performance RISC-V processors for real-time computing and AI\/ML workloads. The business is focused on scalable multicore designs and advanced silicon for demanding embedded and edge-compute use cases. The position sits within the company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s early engineering group and offers the chance to help shape complex digital hardware from the ground up.<\/p>\n

The role is aimed at an enthusiastic engineer who wants to tackle challenging technical problems, develop skills across several disciplines, and take real responsibility in a collaborative start-up setting. You would be working alongside experienced specialists in architecture, ASIC design, verification, FPGA, and system-level development.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Help develop advanced digital ASIC and FPGA implementations.<\/li>\n
  • Write RTL code in Verilog and\/or SystemVerilog as part of the design process.<\/li>\n
  • Support simulation, debugging, and verification work to improve design quality.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to work on multicore processor architectures and high-performance compute platforms.<\/li>\n
  • Work in partnership with colleagues across architecture, ASIC, verification, FPGA, and related engineering functions.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with improving automation, scripting, and the engineering design flow.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in technical reviews and contribute ideas during engineering discussions.<\/li>\n
  • Support hardware bring-up and validation activities when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
