This opportunity is for a senior verification specialist to join a respected GPU hardware team working on next-generation graphics intellectual property used in leading semiconductor products. The position offers principal-level influence and the chance to shape how verification is approached across the team. The role is based around Cambridge, Bristol, or Kings Langley, and the compensation is up to \u00c2\u00a3125,000 base salary plus bonus.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Take ownership of verification for GPU building blocks as well as larger subsystems, driving the work from early planning through to completion.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.<\/li>\n
  • Produce verification plans and establish the coverage strategy needed to demonstrate design correctness.<\/li>\n
  • Write tests, sequences, assertions, and functional coverage to thoroughly exercise the RTL.<\/li>\n
  • Work through complex RTL problems alongside design engineers, identifying issues and helping resolve them efficiently.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to verification methodology improvements and help raise standards across the team.<\/li>\n
  • Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate, especially within a small, highly technical engineering group.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate closely with architecture and design teams, with the opportunity to influence verification strategy and execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Understanding of ASIC verification flows and the steps required to close verification successfully.<\/li>\n
    • Experience operating at Senior or Principal Verification Engineer level, or equivalent capability.<\/li>\n
    • Interest in GPU hardware and in working on advanced graphics IP.<\/li>\n
    • Comfort working in a small team where technical depth and collaboration are important.<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to work from, or relocate near, Cambridge or Bristol, with Kings Langley also mentioned as a location.<\/li>\n
