This opportunity is for an embedded software engineer to join a company working on new and exciting projects in wireless technology and IoT. The role is based in Bath, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement and a central city location. It offers a salary of \u00c2\u00a340,000 to \u00c2\u00a355,000 plus additional benefits.<\/p>\n

What the role involves<\/h3>\n

  • Building embedded software for products and projects in the wireless and IoT space.<\/li>\n
  • Writing and maintaining code in C for embedded environments.<\/li>\n
  • Using scripting tools, ideally Python, to support development work.<\/li>\n
  • Working with embedded microcontrollers, especially ARM and STM32 devices.<\/li>\n
  • Developing software that runs on real-time operating systems or directly on bare-metal hardware.<\/li>\n
  • Dealing with communication protocols as part of the embedded solution.<\/li>\n
  • Getting involved in a wide range of technical tasks and contributing wherever needed.<\/li>\n
  • Taking on interesting engineering problems and helping move new projects forward.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • About 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded software engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Solid hands-on ability with C programming and embedded systems.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with scripting languages, with Python preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with embedded microcontrollers, particularly ARM and STM32.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of real-time operating systems or bare-metal development.<\/li>\n

    • Hardware knowledge or FPGA experience would also be helpful.<\/li>\n
