Deloitte is looking for a Workday Finance Lead to join its Technology & Transformation business within the Enterprise Applications service line. The role sits in the Workday Financial Management practice, where the team supports clients with finance transformation and Workday delivery work across a broad range of industries. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Contribute to advisory and delivery engagements, supporting clients from early transformation thinking through to the full delivery lifecycle of Workday projects.<\/li>\n
  • Interpret business needs and convert them into Workday configuration across core finance areas such as general ledger, supplier accounts, customer accounts, banking, and expenses.<\/li>\n
  • Work with clients to define their target operating model, solution architecture, and end-to-end finance processes so they can be supported effectively by Workday.<\/li>\n
  • Lead workshops with senior stakeholders, test assumptions, challenge requirements where needed, and shape those requirements into practical design decisions.<\/li>\n
  • Support design, prototyping, and process design activities during Workday implementation work.<\/li>\n
  • Help clients and project teams understand transactional data flows and contribute to data migration planning and support.<\/li>\n
  • Take responsibility for planning and delivering the team\u00e2\u0080\u0099s scope and outputs, while keeping an eye on delivery risks in ERP programmes.<\/li>\n
  • Build strong working relationships with clients through clear communication, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach.<\/li>\n

    • Experience in ERP, EPM, and cloud computing, including familiarity with storage, platforms, and data.<\/li>\n
    • Relevant experience in finance technology or a closely related field.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on finance transformation experience involving Workday.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to turn business requirements into detailed system, application, and process designs that cover both functional and non-functional needs.<\/li>\n

    • Ideally, certification in Workday Finance, FDM, and Engagement Manager.<\/li>\n

    • At least two end-to-end Workday implementations.<\/li>\n
    • For the preferred profile, at least one active Workday Finance certification in R2R, P2P, or Accounting Centre.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of modern automation approaches, continuous integration and deployment, and cloud-based delivery models.<\/li>\n
    • Comfort discussing technical matters with business stakeholders and business issues with technical teams.<\/li>\n
