This role is for a senior product manager focused on fleet technology within Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s European Middle Mile network. The work sits at the crossroads of transportation, connected vehicle systems, operations, and data, with responsibility for helping shape how telematics, fleet management platforms, and vehicle data are used across a very large network of vehicles and partners. The goal is to help Amazon run one of the world\u00e2\u0080\u0099s most complex logistics operations more safely, efficiently, and effectively.<\/p>\n

The position calls for someone who can operate in a space where the business problem is clear but the product solution still needs to be defined. You will be expected to bring strong product judgment, work comfortably through uncertainty, and influence a wide range of stakeholders across operations, safety, compliance, engineering, external technology suppliers, and senior leadership. The role involves identifying opportunities, setting product direction, building alignment, and driving execution from early concept through adoption and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Set the long-term vision and roadmap for fleet technology supporting Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s European Middle Mile operations.<\/li>\n
  • Find high-value opportunities where vehicle data, telematics, and operational insights can improve safety, compliance, fleet performance, and the experience of partners.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, safety, compliance, and outside providers to turn unclear business needs into product solutions that can scale.<\/li>\n
  • Develop business cases and prioritization approaches that balance customer needs, operational impact, technical complexity, and investment tradeoffs.<\/li>\n
  • Lead discovery work by using data, customer feedback, and field observations to uncover unmet needs and define future product capabilities.<\/li>\n
  • Shape how fleet management platforms, telematics vendors, and operational tools integrate with one another as the ecosystem grows.<\/li>\n
  • Use data and product strategy to align senior leaders and cross-functional teams around roadmap priorities, vision, and measures of success.<\/li>\n
  • Own products throughout the full lifecycle, from idea generation and launch to adoption and ongoing refinement.<\/li>\n
  • Help define and scale the next generation of fleet technology capabilities in a fast-evolving area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Fleet Safety & Technology team is part of International Global Fleet & Products. Its mission is to make Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s delivery fleet the safest, most advanced, and most efficient in the industry, with an ambition to eliminate serious incidents through the use of technology, data, and accountability.<\/p>\n

    What Amazon is looking for<\/h3>\n

    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or an equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n
    • Experience owning and shaping roadmap strategy and product definition.<\/li>\n
    • Experience delivering products from start to finish, including full lifecycle development.<\/li>\n
    • Experience making product feature tradeoffs and driving feature delivery.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working as a product manager or product owner.<\/li>\n
    • Experience owning technology products.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in product management, program management, product marketing, business development, or a technology-focused role.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to deliver products through the full development lifecycle.<\/li>\n
    • Strong comfort with ambiguity and the ability to solve problems in an emerging space.<\/li>\n
    • Strong product judgment and the ability to influence across a broad stakeholder group, including senior leaders and teams in operations, safety, compliance, engineering, and external technology providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
