The AWS Professional Services team is looking for an experienced Delivery Consultant to join the Amazon Connect Center of Delivery Excellence. In this role, you will partner closely with customers to shape, implement, and operate AWS solutions that address both technical needs and business goals. You will play an important part in helping customers succeed on their cloud journey by bringing deep technical knowledge, practical delivery experience, and strong advisory skills to every stage of the engagement.<\/p>\n

This position calls for someone who understands AWS products and services in depth and can design complex cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and tailored to each customer\u00e2\u0080\u0099s environment. You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements, review current infrastructure, and recommend migration approaches that make sense for the customer. As a trusted advisor, you will also help customers navigate industry trends, new technologies, and innovative solution options while guiding implementation, maintaining best practices, improving performance, and managing delivery risks.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Design and implement advanced AWS solutions that are built around customer requirements and are resilient, scalable, and secure.<\/li>\n
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout delivery, helping projects move forward smoothly and effectively.<\/li>\n
  • Work with customer and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and develop practical migration strategies to AWS.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by explaining relevant industry trends, emerging technologies, and solution options.<\/li>\n
  • Lead implementation work while keeping an eye on quality, performance, and risk management.<\/li>\n
  • Share knowledge across the organization through mentoring, training, and the creation of reusable technical materials and assets.<\/li>\n
  • Support contact center and conversational AI initiatives, including enterprise-scale implementations and integrations across multiple platforms.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to customer-facing discussions, including pre-sales conversations, by communicating technical ideas clearly to different audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Experience and qualifications<\/h3>\n

    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree, or equivalent professional or military experience.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working as a technical specialist in design and architecture.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with cloud-based solutions, whether on AWS or another comparable platform, along with knowledge of systems, networking, and operating systems.<\/li>\n
    • At least five years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.<\/li>\n
    • At least five years of experience in contact center technology architecture, enterprise IT architecture, or senior contact center development using major platforms such as Amazon Connect, Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, NICE InContact, Salesforce, or similar technologies.<\/li>\n
    • At least three years of experience designing and delivering NLP\/NLU solutions for IVR or chat using a major conversational AI framework such as Rasa, Dialogflow, Lex, or Azure Bot Service in an enterprise contact center environment.<\/li>\n
    • At least three years of hands-on coding experience with REST APIs and web services, including successful integration across three or more contact center platforms such as Genesys, Amazon Connect, and Five9.<\/li>\n
    • Strong ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred background<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • AWS Professional-level certification is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements, especially HIPAA and GDPR, is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Experience communicating technical ideas in pre-sales settings is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Hands-on AWS experience is preferred, particularly with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation.<\/li>\n
      • Additional AWS Professional-level certifications, such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional, are preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Experience using automation and scripting tools such as Terraform and Python is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of Amazon Connect or Amazon Lex capabilities, deployment requirements, and business value is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Experience applying generative AI to contact center use cases, including voice or chat bots, agent assist, next-best-action experiences, architecture design, model selection, integration, prompt engineering, and data preparation, is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
