The Prime Video Finance team is looking for a finance analyst to support marketing activity across Europe and LATCAN. The role focuses on planning, reporting, and making sure campaign spend is used effectively to help drive business growth. It is aimed at someone who combines strong commercial judgment with advanced analytical ability, is comfortable handling substantial data sets, and can also step back to understand the wider business picture.<\/p>\n

Prime Video is Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s premium streaming service, offering customers a wide range of entertainment choices. Its catalogue includes Prime Original series such as The Rings of Power, The Grand Tour, The Boys, and Reacher, along with Prime Original films like Saltburn and Air. The service also provides country-specific titles available only to Prime members in each market, plus live sports such as Thursday Night Football in the US and the Champions League. The business is growing quickly, operates in a fast-moving environment, and places innovation for customers at the center of its work.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Support the month-end process and look for ways to improve it, including opportunities to automate tasks and make the workflow more efficient.<\/li>\n
  • Review marketing spend at month end, investigate differences versus plan or forecast, and communicate findings to finance and business partners.<\/li>\n
  • Own the reporting and commentary for marketing spend from end to end across the relevant mechanisms and reporting channels.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with marketing leaders during planning and reforecast cycles, bringing together inputs, consolidating figures, and assessing the effect of performance changes and strategic shifts.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting for the marketing organization and other Prime Video finance groups.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain control over spend data, performance commentary, planning information, and data integration across dashboards and platforms.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as a central point of contact for marketing and finance stakeholders on spend analysis, country-level and title-level trends, and performance reporting.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in project work across marketing finance, with the exact focus changing over time and offering a variety of interesting assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What the role looks like day to day<\/h3>\n

    At month end, this position plays an important part in working with the marketing team to ensure the financial records accurately capture in-month spend. You will help explain key spending variances and fold plan changes into reforecasts and planning cycles. The role also acts as a main contact for both marketing and other Prime Video finance teams, while overseeing the integrity of total marketing spend data. Because of this, the work includes frequent ad hoc spend analysis, review of country and title spending patterns, and performance reporting.<\/p>\n

    The project work is varied, so there are always new and interesting tasks to contribute to within marketing finance.<\/p>\n

    What you need<\/h3>\n

    • A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related area, or a bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree combined with experience in a quantitative role such as engineering, process re-engineering, or quality assurance.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in tax, finance, or another analytical field.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable.<\/li>\n
    • Experience using key financial performance indicators in analysis.<\/li>\n
    • Experience improving processes through automation and analytical work.<\/li>\n
    • Experience identifying, leading, and delivering improvements that simplify, standardize, automate, or streamline finance or business tools and processes.<\/li>\n
    • Advanced SQL experience for data mining and business intelligence.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred: a bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or CPA.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred: experience contributing to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen controllership and produce measurable outcomes.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred: experience with large-scale reporting and data-mining tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, or Cognos, as well as financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, or JD Edwards.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical ability and the confidence to work with large volumes of data while keeping the broader commercial context in view.<\/li>\n
    • A commercially minded approach suited to a finance role supporting a fast-growing media business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
