This role sits within Arm\u00e2\u0080\u0099s SAP reporting environment and is focused on building, shaping, and leading the organisation\u00e2\u0080\u0099s reporting capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering SAP core reporting services to the business areas that rely on them, particularly Finance, while working closely with stakeholders to improve reporting availability, support process efficiency, and enable quicker decisions based on current data.<\/p>\n

The position is also a leadership role. You will guide the development of a reporting team, help rationalise the current reporting landscape, introduce new reporting solutions, and establish consistent templates and dashboards that encourage wider use across the business. A major part of the job is setting the strategic direction for SAP reporting across Core BI, SAC, and Data Sphere, while acting as the technical lead and advocate for reporting solutions that help the business make better decisions.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Provide expert SAP reporting guidance and help position technology as a practical enabler for strategic reporting and decision-making.<\/li>\n
  • Develop a strong reporting capability within Arm\u00e2\u0080\u0099s SAP Centre of Excellence, with a focus on centralised, simplified, and standardised reporting structures.<\/li>\n
  • Create and maintain reporting repositories that give business teams the data and reporting access they need for fast, accurate decisions.<\/li>\n
  • Influence senior stakeholders and business leaders to adopt SAP reporting tools and support the roadmap for new functionality that will improve business outcomes.<\/li>\n
  • Lead, mentor, and support the BI, SAC, and Data Sphere functional team.<\/li>\n
  • Define and implement effective methods for the full reporting lifecycle.<\/li>\n
  • Design, build, and support standardised SAP and non-SAP reports, templates, and dashboards for strategic use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and experience needed<\/h3>\n

    • Strong hands-on technical capability in SAP BI, SAC, and Data Sphere, with the ability to steer reporting design and development decisions.<\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of SAP\u00e2\u0080\u0099s data and analytics strategy and future direction.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience improving SAP reporting and supporting reporting development in a large organisation.<\/li>\n
    • Experience managing stakeholders and building effective working relationships.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to adapt communication for senior audiences and explain technical proposals clearly to people without a technical background.<\/li>\n
    • Experience coaching and developing team members and business users.<\/li>\n
    • Confident leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to act decisively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable experience<\/h3>\n

      • Experience in a SOx-controlled environment.<\/li>\n
      • SAP certifications relevant to reporting, such as SAP Certified in SAC or Data Sphere.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to read and debug ABAP.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with delivery methods such as Waterfall and Agile.<\/li>\n
      • Experience mentoring technical colleagues and business users.<\/li>\n
