In practice, the role acts as the technical partner to Google Cloud customer engineers: the customer engineer owns the direct customer relationship and account strategy, while this role owns the partner\u00e2\u0080\u0099s technical capability so the partner can successfully deliver the solution.<\/p>\n<p>The work combines regional advisory with deeper domain execution in areas such as AI, data, or infrastructure. A major part of the job is to close pre-sales gaps, help partners move complex opportunities forward, and avoid unnecessary delivery escalations after the sale. The role also works closely with partner development managers to build and execute joint business plans for the assigned sub-region, with attention on the most important opportunities and on strengthening the wider partner community.<\/p>\n<h3>What you will do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead high-touch partner enablement activities, including intensive bootcamps and hackathons, to help shorten sales cycles, improve delivery quality, and support a smooth path to consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Provide targeted pre-sales architecture support to regional system integrators and strategic partners in the South, acting as a technical peer to customer engineers when complex deals need to be unblocked or partner activation needs to be tailored.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of technical review and validation for the most important statements of work, helping ensure solutions are production-ready and that partner funding is used effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the regional pre-sales design authority by creating reusable enterprise assets, such as practical AI demonstrations, that can be replicated across partners and engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Run deep technical sessions and hackathons for the regional partner technology community so that enablement can be delivered broadly and efficiently across many partners.<\/li>\n<li>Help build, operate, and maintain the EMEA Partner Tech Community.<\/li>\n<li>Work with partner development managers to create, drive, and execute joint business plans for regional system integrators and strategic partners, focusing on the highest-value engagements in the sub-region.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for expansion within partner accounts and help maintain momentum on partner-led delivery deals while minimizing escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Move between advisory work and hands-on technical execution depending on the engagement, using domain expertise in AI, data, or infrastructure to support partner success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What we are looking for<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.<\/li>\n<li>At least six years of experience working with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on knowledge of public cloud architecture, including compute, networking, identity and access management, and microservices.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with pre-sales acceleration, technical proofs of concept, and leading technical workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Deep specialization in at least one area, such as AI, data, or infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with enterprise technology purchasing and evaluation, plus the ability to understand computing solutions from a business perspective and translate business needs into technical direction.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to challenge partner delivery strategies using strong business-to-technology communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence working cross-functionally with Google Cloud Platform customer engineers to shape and position solutions made up of multiple products.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to influence partner technical audiences, identify expansion opportunities in partner accounts, and keep partner-led delivery work moving without escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Mid-level professional experience, with the ability to drive progress, solve problems, and mentor more junior colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Strong English proficiency, which is required for roles unless the posting states otherwise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional context<\/h3>\n<p>Google Cloud describes its platform as helping organizations transform digitally and build what comes next using secure, reliable, and scalable technology.
