What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Build, maintain, and actively promote a strong culture centred on safety and employee wellbeing.<\/li>\n
  • Review quality and productivity performance, then introduce changes that keep both at a consistently strong level.<\/li>\n
  • Lead projects that simplify workflows, improve productivity, and raise the quality of service delivered to customers in your area.<\/li>\n
  • Assess shift results against the relevant business targets and put corrective actions in place to strengthen operational performance.<\/li>\n
  • Partner with other managers and leadership colleagues to align and standardise shift-level working practices.<\/li>\n
  • Manage a shift-based operation at one of Amazon\u00e2\u0080\u0099s sites, ensuring the site is as productive as possible.<\/li>\n
  • Take responsibility for process improvement work within your area and drive the changes through to implementation.<\/li>\n
  • Handle a varied day that can include team leadership, routine operational duties, improvement initiatives, and wider contingency planning.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as a mentor and example for newer managers joining the organisation.<\/li>\n

    • For the preferred profile, either a bachelor\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree or a master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree plus experience working for Amazon or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean methods, PMP, or similar process-improvement frameworks.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import\/export operations, or data entry\/data administration.<\/li>\n
    • Preferred professional experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
