What the role involves<\/h3>\n

  • Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance across a broad range of site equipment and machinery.<\/li>\n
  • Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing reactive repairs in a live distribution warehouse.<\/li>\n
  • Using modern tools and maintenance techniques to improve equipment performance and overall effectiveness.<\/li>\n
  • Following health and safety rules and maintaining safe working practices at all times.<\/li>\n
  • Helping to develop on-site apprentices by supporting their learning and progression.<\/li>\n
  • Taking part in improvement work and helping to spread best practices across multiple European sites.<\/li>\n
  • Working alongside more senior colleagues on everyday maintenance tasks and involving contractors when specialist support is required.<\/li>\n
  • Contributing ideas for longer-term improvements to equipment, processes, and site operations.<\/li>\n
  • Supporting round-the-clock site coverage through a rota that includes early shifts, late shifts, and night work.<\/li>\n

    Team and working environment<\/h3>\n

    • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, especially in mechanical and\/or electrical maintenance.<\/li>\n
