This senior infrastructure energy leadership role is focused on ensuring AWS data centres across northern and central Europe have the power capacity they need across the entire lifecycle of energy delivery. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, covering power origination, capacity securing, grid connection delivery, and compliance with national grid codes and regulatory requirements.   • Work across internal functions such as design engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, finance, legal, and real estate to ensure grid connections are delivered on time and meet required standards.<\/li>\n
  • Balance direct technical involvement with portfolio-level prioritisation, governance, and risk management.<\/li>\n
  • Lead senior engagement with utilities to secure power capacity, manage interconnection activity, and reduce delivery risk.<\/li>\n
  • Build and sustain relationships with technical consultants who support power origination and delivery.<\/li>\n
  • Support and drive policy reform efforts that help unlock capacity and remove barriers to power delivery across the region.<\/li>\n
  • Own regional accountability for energy budgets, delivery schedules, and performance metrics across the project portfolio.<\/li>\n
  • Spot technical, commercial, and delivery risks early, escalate issues where appropriate, and implement practical mitigation plans.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to capital planning, investment cases, and executive decision-making by providing data-led recommendations.<\/li>\n
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 to 8 professionals, offering technical direction and helping create a high-performing culture.<\/li>\n
