This is a week-long Spring Insight experience at BlackRock for students who want an early look at life inside a global investment firm. The programme takes place in April 2027 and is hosted in BlackRock\u00e2\u0080\u0099s London and Edinburgh offices. It is designed for students from any academic background who are due to complete an undergraduate or master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree in 2029.<\/p>\n

The experience is intended to give participants a practical introduction to one of the firm\u00e2\u0080\u0099s business areas. Over the course of the week, attendees will spend time shadowing professionals, working on a group project, and taking part in networking and social activities. The programme is structured to help students build a clearer understanding of the markets and the kind of work BlackRock does, while also giving them the chance to meet people across the business.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Join a one-week insight programme in either London or Edinburgh.<\/li>\n
  • Observe day-to-day work through shadowing within a selected business area.<\/li>\n
  • Work with other participants on a collaborative group project.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in networking sessions and social events.<\/li>\n
  • Explore the firm\u00e2\u0080\u0099s work through an immersive student experience.<\/li>\n
  • Consider up to two functions within the programme, reflecting BlackRock\u00e2\u0080\u0099s encouragement to keep an open mind about early career paths.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Application process and important rules<\/h3>\n

    • Applicants may submit only one programme application in this recruitment cycle.<\/li>\n
    • Within that single programme application, candidates can choose up to two functions.<\/li>\n
    • If you want to be considered for two functions, both choices must be included under the same programme application.<\/li>\n
    • If you withdraw your application, you will not be able to submit another application for this programme during the same year.<\/li>\n
    • After applying, you will receive an email asking you to complete a pre-interview assessment.<\/li>\n
    • The assessment must be completed within five days of the email being sent.<\/li>\n
    • Failure to complete the assessment in time will result in the application being automatically withdrawn.<\/li>\n
    • The application deadline is Friday 4 December 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
