This summer internship programme is an eight-week experience running from June through August and is built to give students a demanding, practical, and supportive introduction to life at BlackRock. The structure is intended to reflect, as closely as possible, what it is like to work as a full-time analyst at the firm. Interns begin with an orientation that provides a detailed introduction to BlackRock and includes the chance to hear from senior leaders. After that, participants move into role-based training and take on everyday responsibilities that allow them to make a real contribution to their teams over the course of the summer.<\/p>\n

The programme also includes a wider development experience beyond the day-to-day role. Interns can expect a speaker series, mentoring support, and a range of networking opportunities, including activities connected to employee networks. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Join an eight-week summer internship from June to August that is designed to closely resemble the experience of a BlackRock analyst role.<\/li>\n

    Who can apply<\/h3>\n

    • Applicants should be in the penultimate year of study and due to graduate in 2028 from an undergraduate or master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree programme.<\/li>\n
    • Students from any degree subject are eligible to apply.<\/li>\n
    • For roles based in Continental Europe, candidates need to be fluent in the local language.<\/li>\n
    • For Budapest, English is the only language requirement.<\/li>\n
    • For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English is also the only language requirement.<\/li>\n
    • Each candidate may apply to only one programme in this recruitment cycle, such as the Summer Internship Programme or the Quantitative Master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Internship Programme.<\/li>\n
    • Within that chosen programme, candidates may select up to two functions, for example Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling, and both choices must be submitted through the same programme application.<\/li>\n
    • If an application is withdrawn, the candidate cannot submit another application to this programme during the same year.<\/li>\n
    • After submitting an application, candidates will receive an email inviting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.<\/li>\n
    • The pre-interview assessment must be completed within five days, otherwise the application will be automatically withdrawn.<\/li>\n
    • Applications are reviewed as they come in, so early application is strongly encouraged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This recruitment is for the EMEA region and includes opportunities in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. The listed cities include Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Paris, Riyadh, Stockholm, and Zurich.<\/p>\n

      Application deadlines vary by location: London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich close on 30 September 2026; Milan and Amsterdam close on 30 October 2026; Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen close on 13 November 2026; and Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh close on 31 January 2027.<\/p>\n
