This summer internship is an eight-week programme running from June to August across the EMEA region. It is built to give students a demanding, meaningful, and well-supported experience that closely reflects what it is like to work as a full-time BlackRock analyst. Interns begin with an orientation that introduces the firm in detail and includes presentations from senior leaders. After that, they receive practical training on the job and are expected to take on everyday responsibilities that help their teams over the course of the summer.<\/p>\n

The programme also includes a wider development experience beyond the core work itself. Interns can expect a speaker series, mentoring support, and a range of networking opportunities, including events connected to BlackRock employee networks. What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Join an eight-week internship from June through August and experience a programme designed to resemble the work of a full-time analyst as closely as possible.<\/li>\n

    Who can apply<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Applicants should be in the penultimate year of study and due to graduate in 2028 from either an undergraduate or master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree programme.<\/li>\n
    • Students from any degree subject are eligible to apply.<\/li>\n
    • For roles in Continental Europe, candidates need to be fluent in the local language for the location.<\/li>\n
    • For Budapest, English is the only language requirement.<\/li>\n
    • For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English is also sufficient.<\/li>\n
    • Candidates may apply to only one programme in this recruitment cycle, but within that programme they may select up to two functions.<\/li>\n
    • Both function choices must be submitted through the same programme application.<\/li>\n
    • If an application is withdrawn, the candidate cannot submit another application to this programme later in the same year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Application process and deadlines<\/h3>\n

      • After submitting an application, candidates receive an email inviting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.<\/li>\n
      • The assessment must be completed within five days of the email being sent.<\/li>\n
      • If the assessment is not completed in time, the application will be automatically withdrawn.<\/li>\n
      • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.<\/li>\n
      • Location-specific deadlines are listed for the programme: London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Zurich by 30 September 2026; Milan and Amsterdam by 30 October 2026; Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen by 13 November 2026; and Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh by 31 January 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
