This summer internship is part of BlackRock\u00e2\u0080\u0099s 2027 early careers programme for the EMEA region. It is an eight-week placement running from June through August and is intended to give students a demanding, meaningful, and well-supported experience that closely reflects what it is like to work as a full-time BlackRock analyst.<\/p>\n

The internship begins with an orientation session that introduces the firm and includes talks from senior leaders. After that, interns receive practical training on the job and are expected to take on real day-to-day work that helps their teams over the course of the summer. The programme also includes a speaker series, mentoring, and a range of networking activities, including events with employee networks.<\/p>\n

What you will do<\/h3>\n

  • Join an eight-week summer internship from June to August and contribute to the work of your team in a way that mirrors the responsibilities of a full-time analyst as closely as possible.<\/li>\n

    Who can apply<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Applicants should be in the penultimate year of their studies and due to graduate in 2028.<\/li>\n
    • The opportunity is open to students on undergraduate or master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s degree courses.<\/li>\n
    • BlackRock welcomes candidates from any degree background; there is no requirement to study a particular subject.<\/li>\n
    • For roles in Continental Europe, candidates need to be fluent in the local language.<\/li>\n
    • For Budapest roles, English is sufficient.<\/li>\n
    • For positions in Private Markets Investing in Zurich, English is also sufficient.<\/li>\n
    • Candidates may apply to only one programme in the early careers process, such as the Summer Internship Programme or the Quantitative Master\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Internship Programme.<\/li>\n
    • Within that single programme application, candidates may choose up to two functions, such as Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling.<\/li>\n
    • If applying to two functions, both choices must be made through the same programme application.<\/li>\n
    • If an application is withdrawn, the candidate cannot submit another application to this programme during the same year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Application process and deadlines<\/h3>\n

      • After submitting an application, candidates receive an email inviting them to complete a pre-interview assessment.<\/li>\n
      • The assessment must be completed within five days of receiving the email.<\/li>\n
      • If the assessment is not submitted in time, the application is automatically withdrawn.<\/li>\n
      • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are recommended.<\/li>\n
      • Location-specific deadlines are listed for London and Edinburgh on 30 September 2026, Paris and Zurich on 30 September 2026, Milan and Amsterdam on 30 October 2026, Frankfurt, Munich, and Copenhagen on 13 November 2026, and Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, and Riyadh on 31 January 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
