- Shape and deliver the platform strategy, roadmap, and modernization agenda.<\/li>\n
- Strengthen scalability, resilience, automation, and overall operational maturity across the platform.<\/li>\n
- Set engineering standards, governance controls, and day-to-day operating procedures.<\/li>\n
- Act as the primary escalation contact for major production incidents and service interruptions.<\/li>\n
- Coordinate planning and delivery across several technology streams and initiatives.<\/li>\n
- Apply Agile delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban, while driving continuous improvement.<\/li>\n
- Ensure service levels, KPIs, operational measures, and customer commitments are consistently met.<\/li>\n
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and technical blockers before they impact delivery.<\/li>\n
- Support compliance, security, audit readiness, and cost control activities.<\/li>\n
- Implement strong monitoring, observability, and service management processes.<\/li>\n
- Provide practical hands-on support where needed across the platform landscape.<\/li>\n
- Coach and develop engineers working in Snowflake, Kafka, cloud, DevOps, and platform roles.<\/li>\n

- Lead architecture-focused discussions with leads, platform architects, and client stakeholders.<\/li>\n

What you need<\/h3>\n\n- At least 7 years of experience leading teams in data platforms, cloud, integration, or platform engineering.<\/li>\n
- Proven ability to manage large enterprise production environments.<\/li>\n
- Experience delivering in global Agile environments.<\/li>\n
- Strong background in stakeholder and client engagement.<\/li>\n
- Deep expertise in Snowflake administration and\/or the Confluent Kafka platform.<\/li>\n
- Practical experience with at least two platform technologies, including mandatory expertise in either Snowflake or Confluent Kafka.<\/li>\n
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.<\/li>\n
- Working knowledge of GitHub or similar source control tools, CI\/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.<\/li>\n
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.<\/li>\n
- Strong understanding of data mesh, data governance, security, and compliance.<\/li>\n
- Experience in platform monitoring, observability, and operations.<\/li>\n
- Experience using Agile methods and CI\/CD practices.<\/li>\n
- Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows.<\/li>\n
- Exposure to Data.world and Manta.<\/li>\n
